Abstract:
Distribution of residual stresses in a flat specimen with deep symmetric cuts after surface hardening in compliance with geometry of concentrators and hardening variants is studied with the help of isotropic initial deformations. It is established that corner disclosing of a cut and hardening of a hollow concentrator essentially influence the size and character distribution of residual stresses.
