Abstract:
In the framework of plane steady filtration of incompressible fluid by Darcy's law some schemes of filtration flows from canals and irrigation canals through the soil layer underlain by well permeable confined aquifer or an impermeable base are considered. For their study mixed boundary value multiparametric problems of
analytic function theory are formulated and solved by using P. Ya. Polubarinova-Cochina's method. Based on these models, algorithms for calculating saturation zone sizes are developed in those cases when under the filtration it is necessary to estimate combined influence of such important factors as seepage back pressure from the underlying confined aquifer or confining bed, the bed cross-sectional shape of power supplies and water levels in it, capillarity and evaporation of soil (infiltration) from the free surface of ground water on the motion pattern. The results of calculations for all the schemes of flow are compared with the same filter parameters.
