Abstract:
Expansion of dust clouds consisting of particles of different size in forest areas is simulated mathematically. The effect of forest shelter belts, their shape, and position on the movement of a dust cloud in the space is studied. A set of numerical experiments has been carried out to compare effectiveness of some types of forest shelter belts. Results of parametric studies for different sizes of dust particles are demonstrated and some conclusions about effectiveness of some types of forest shelter belts.
