Abstract: The proposed mathematical model is based on the Smoluchowski equation describing the dynamics of changes in the aerosol particle size distribution function with allowance for the ultrasonic influence, evaporation (for liquid-drop aerosols), and sedimentation. The asymptotic behavior of the probability function for collisions of aerosol particles on the ultrasound frequency is studied. The influence of introducing an additional phase – liquid-drop aerosol to the already existing solidphase one – on the coagulation and sedimentation rates is investigated. The results of the experimental study of aerosol disperse parameters are presented.

Keywords: aerosol coagulation, ultrasonic influence, two-phasic aerosol, evaporation of droplets, particle size distribution function.
