Abstract:
The problem about the process of gas hydrate particle ascent in a liquid is studied. Typical depths at which the ascent is accompanied by hydrate formation or occurs without changes in hydrate particles and small depths where the ascent is accompanied by decomposition of hydrate particles are obtained. It is assumed that the intensity of hydrate formation and decomposition is determined by the convective heat exchange with water around the particle.
