Abstract:
In this paper, an investigation of the particle motion in the vicinity of a movable wall is carried out. The numerical results show that an increase in the plate oscillation frequency $\omega$ increases the frequency of variation in the particle velocity. With an increase in $\omega$, the oscillation mode of the variation in the plate velocity is observed in a thinner layer adjacent to the plate. With an increase in the particle diameter, the inertia of the particles increases. The amplitude of particle oscillations decreases with increasing frequency of plate oscillations.
