Abstract: A characteristic feature of modern science is the desire in all spheres of human activity to identify and Express quantitative relationships in the processes and phenomena of the material world. Health protection is no exception in this regard. The impetus for writing this article was the lack of a metrologically justified quantitative measure of health, as a fundamental property of a living organism: to maintain life in the body in all its States, to exclude the possibility of identifying natural quantitative relations in health protection and in the health care system. This article reveals the essence of the concept of “Health". Its features are considered and characterized in the form of individual coefficients of mutual correlation, the meaning of the statistical indicator $Z(\vartheta )$ of health is revealed, and a theorem on the law of probability distribution of the patient's States on the interval $\vartheta$ of health monitoring is formulated. The authors analyze the statistical dynamics of health protection, relative to the indicators of professionalism in solving problems in the diagnosis of healthy and sick patients. The result of this work can be considered a metrological indicator and can be recommended as one of the criteria for use in practical health care.

Keywords: statistical dynamics, probability theory, quantitative measure of health, health protection, health system.
