Abstract:
Determining microseismic sources coordinates based on a group of sensors as a part of microseismic monitoring occurs, for example, in mining. A mathematical model is proposed for an approximate calculation, and it is required to find the global minimum of a continuous function. However, most of the algorithms used to solve this problem are based on heuristic and metaheuristic approaches. In this paper, we propose to use an approach based on the $\varepsilon $-Lipschitz continuity. This property assures that found solution is global. We show numerical examples that are in good agreement with the results obtained by heuristic algorithms.
