Efficiency of second harmonic generation in one-dimentional photonic crystal from isotropic material

Abstract: Investigation of second-harmonic generation in one-dimensional photonic crystal was carried out. The calculation of the recording of the grate $\chi^{(2)}$ in a periodic system consisted of layers of air and glass and is followed by second-harmonic generation was performed. The effective factor of transformation of radiation into the second harmonic at different wavelengths of the first harmonic was estimated.
