After EGI — WGI?

Abstract: This article concerns a short review of history and author’s estimation of realization state in projects for data handling, based on use of Grid-technologies (in particular, in frames of European Grid Initiative project: EGI). Some problems are mentioned, which concern the possible WGI (Worldwide Grid Initiative project) realization.
