Asymptotic solution of a two scales problem of wave-propagation with a local degeneration point

The paper deals with wave propagation in media where the scale of changing along one of the coordinates is much more thaft that along the other one. A local degeneration of the waves is investigated and transformation coefficients are deduced. The example of a bend wave propagation in a symmetric plate is considered.
