On the investigation of the roots of dispersion equation for layered transversal-isotropic medium

To investigate the propagation of normal and leaking waves in layered transversal-isotropic medium it is necessary to determine the complex and imaginary roots of the dispersion equation. For little and large wave numbers the dispersion equation is simplified. This enables us to determine the initial and final points of all roots and the root motion between these points.
