Free interpolation by functions with $H^1$ derivative

Free interpolation sets for the class $H^1_1$ of functions with $H^1$ derivative are described. Traces of $H^1_1$ functions on the interpolation set are characterized in inner terms. This characterization is of Besov type. It includes a special homogeneous measure on a given set; the existence of such a measure is also proved.
