Application of boundary control theory methods to spectral inverse problem for inhomogeneous string

Abstract: Spectral inverse problem for inhomogeneous string is solved by means of boundary control theory methods. The algorithm of reconstruction of the string density is obtained. Numerical experiments confirm the efficiency of the method.
