Kinematic approach to group velocity interpretation of high frequency space-time Love (SH) and Rayleigh (SV) waves

Abstract: From the point of view of kinetic theory the group velocity is deduced. Final formula for group velocity of non-stationary Love (SH) and Rayleigh (SV) waves is obtained by the use of space-time eikonal equation.
