The “slave boson” method for the Hubbard model – the $RVB$ state and high – $T_c$ superconductivity

The modified “slave boson” method is applied to the description of the phase transitions metal-insulator and metal-superconductor in the Hubbard model. The formulaes for the energy gap and critical temperature are received.
