Abstract: The paper considers computation of the matrix entries for linear algebraic systems of equations occurring in the Rao–Wilton–Glisson solution by the method of moments for problems of electromagnetic scattering by surfaces of arbitrary shape. Using the Taylor series expansion and its truncation to four terms, all double integrals needed in computing the matrix entries are taken, and closed-form analytic expressions are obtained. It is demonstrated that these expressions provide for a faster and more accurate solution than numerical integration.
