Quantum relativistic Toda lattice

$q$-deformations of Toda lattices connected with infinite series of Lie algebras and their affine analogues are described. The corresponding $2\times2$ $L$-operators satisfying the standard quadratic algebra of XXZ-type are constructed. The procedure of separation of variables in the quantum case is described.
