Abstract:
A modified version of the simplex-karion algorithm for the decomposition of real numbers into multidimensional continued fractions and the application of this algorithm to the decomposition of algebraic irrationalities into periodic continued fractions are considered. The necessary and sufficient conditions on the sequence of differential specializations for their representation of a certain set of real numbers are given.
