Multidimensional periodic continued fractions, recurrent formulas and fractional linear invariance

Abstract: In this paper, an attempt is made to initially classify possible types of decompositions of real sets of numbers into multidimensional periodic continued fractions. Two types of unimodular matrices are chosen as the basis of the classification — block and triangular matrices.
