Periodic linear Diophantine approximations

The relationship between approximations of several numbers with approximations of the corresponding dual linear forms by means of the matrix of the period of decomposition into a multidimensional periodic continued fraction is discussed. This allowed us to reveal the true meaning of Khintchine's principle of transfer.
