Abstract:
Propagation of seismic waves in block two- and three-dimensional media is investigated. These media consist of the same cells in which there are several fluid blocks and one elastic block. For these media the effective models are established. These effective models are anisotropic fluids. The formulas for the velocities of propagation in these fluids are derived and investigated. The particular investigation is fulfilled in the cases that the elastic block occupies almost the whole of the cell or that relative volume of the elastic block is very small.
