Trajectory reconstruction for an autonomous aircraft based on five-beam scanning

Abstract: The problem of reconstructing the trajectory of an aircraft is considered. The reconstruction is based on heights measured in flight and on preliminary information about the underlying elevation field. A trajectory-reconstructing algorithm is described, and numerical results produced by it are presented.
