Abstract: The multiparameter eigenvalue problem for weakly coupled systems of second order Hamilton equations is examined. For the eigenvalues with prescribed indices, the existence and uniqueness of the solution is investigated. A numerical method for solving this problem is proposed, and some numerical results are presented.

Key words: multiparameter eigenvalue problem, weakly coupled system of ordinary differential equations, numerical eigenvalue method.
