Method for direct numerical simulation of turbulent gas flows in curvilinear coordinates

Abstract: An approach to the direct numerical simulation of turbulent flows of a viscous heat-conducting gas in curved channels is described. Results of direct numerical simulation of such a flow in a channel with an obstacle in the form of a transverse plate of given height are presented.
