On a quasi-linear partial differential algebraic system of equations

Abstract: A mixed problem for a quasi-linear first-order partial differential algebraic system of equations of index $(1,0)$ with two independent variables is considered. An existence theorem for this problem is proved using the method of characteristics and an iterative method.
