On solutions of a boundary value problem for a second-order differential equation with a parameter and discontinuous right-hand side

Abstract: A boundary value problem for a second-order ordinary differential equation with a parameter and discontinuous right-hand side is considered. Theorems on the number of solutions to the problem are established. The resulting solutions are illustrated by plots. The process of numerically solving the problem is described.
