Abstract: The two-particle density matrix of the electron-proton interaction is exactly calculated at temperatures $T$ between 3 and 100 K. The connection of the results with the semiclassical approximation is shown. A method is described for calculating the Coulomb wave functions necessary for the determination of the density matrix.
