The problem of the propagation of nonstationary acoustic waves in a relaxing medium

An initial boundary value problem which arises when investigating nonstationary acoustic waves in an unbounded relaxing-medium is considered. The asymptotic form of its solution as $t\to+\infty$ is obtained.
