On the differential operator of problems of the theory of momentless elastic shells with negative Gaussian curvature

Abstract: From the general boundary value problem of the theory of momentless elastic shells with Gaussian curvature, a problem for displacements tangential to the shell is isolated. The sufficient conditions for the operator obtained are formulated. When these conditions are satisfied, an approximate solution of the problem can be found by the variational-difference method using the minimization of the energy functional by mesh functions.
