Effective method for numerical integration of the equations describing the flow of high-temperature multicomponent gas mixtures in thermochemical equilibrium

Abstract: A new stable iterative method is described for computing the flow of a high-temperature multicomponent gas mixture in thermochemical equilibrium. The method is illustrated by computing the thermochemical destruction of a carbon material in a high-temperature airflow.
