Abstract: A class of the Hammerstein nonlinear integro-differential equations arising in the theory of income distribution is considered. The existence of solutions to these equations in the Sobolev space is proved. An application model described by such an equation is considered, and an algorithm for its solution is proposed. Numerical results are also presented.
