A relation between the products of orthogonal polynomials

A linear connection is obtained between the products of orthogonal polynomials, which can be used as a recurrence formula to calculated the elements of the matrices arising in some applications of Galërkin's method. Examples of calculations illustrating the stability of the algorithm are presented.
