Application of the spectral method to solving the three-dimensional Boltzmann equation with an external force

Abstract: The three-dimensional problem on the efflux of a gas jet into free space through a square hole in the presence of an external force is solved on the basis of the Boltzmann equation. The force influence is simulated by a spectral scheme.
