Abstract: Multicriteria (vector) optimization is examined under assumptions that are conventional for the classical problem of constrained optimization. The method of $\varepsilon$ perturbations is used to construct a sequence of sets converging to a set that contains all the effective vectors and does not contain vectors distinct from weakly effective ones.

Key words: multicriteria optimization, method of $\varepsilon$ perturbations, effective vectors, weakly effective vectors.
