Nonstationary regular reflection of a plane shock wave from a blunt body

The non-stationary reflection of a plane shock wave from a sphere and a cylinder is analyzed using the compatibility conditions for the derivatives on the wave front. Data on the distribution of gas-dynamic quantities in the region between the shock wave and the body surface are given.
