Abstract: The numerical solution of a model selfconsistent problem is discussed. An electron bunch moves in a resonator under the action of an external induced wave and the self-field of the bunch, which is tuned to its motion. The corresponding group of Maxwell's equations and Newton's relativistic equation, describing the motion of the bunch, are solved by a finite-difference method.
