Exact method for solving nonstationary stochastic wave problems

Abstract: A method is proposed for statistic modeling of pulsed signals scattering by layered media with stochastic inhomogeneities. Computation scheme is stable and corresponds to exact weak solution to stochastic wave equation. This method is applied to acoustic studies in ocean.
