Abstract: The collection “Mappings and Dimension” consists of 13 articles. Here one has the articles on the dimension
theory (in particular on cohomological), general topology and topology of manifolds. A big attention is devoted to geometry and topology of mappings. In particular one carefully consider approximation by embeddings problems for polyhedra and manifolds. A significant place here is occupied by problems of continuous selection of multivalued mappings and connected questions of sections for single-valued mappings. In addition the collection contains articles on $C_p$-theory, dyadic bicompacta and infinite-dimensional topology.
The collection is recommended to scientific reseachers, students and post-graduate students specializing in
topology and related fields of mathematics.
