Collected papers. Dedicated to academician Vladimir Igorevich Arnold on the occasion of his 70th birthday

Volume Editor: V. M. Zakalyukin

ISBN: 978-5-02-036298-7

Abstract: This volume is the second part of a two-volume issue of the Proceedings of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics dedicated to Academician Vladimir Igorevich Arnold, an outstanding mathematician of modern times, on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The issue contains papers on algebraic geometry, singularity theory, topology, differential equations, and celestial mechanics. The subjects of the two volumes are not strictly separated. However, the present volume contains most papers on mechanics, differential equations, and applications of singularity theory. Among the authors of the volume are Arnold's students of various generations and prominent scientists from various countries who share a scientific interest with him.
This issue is of undoubted interest for a wide circle of mathematicians.
