The topics of the Workshop cover a wide field of problems in function theory and theory of approximation. In the course of seminar, the following problems will be discussed: the classical problems in approximation theory, splines, wavelets, abstract and geometrical problems in approximation theory, extremal problems in approximation and interpolation and applications of approximating methods in other fields of mathematics.
