II International Scientific Conference «Convergent Cognitive Information Technologies»
(November 24–26, 2017, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow)

The main trend of modern development of scientific knowledge and the technological bases of the information society is the convergence of different scientific disciplines, basic and applied technologies.

A rapid transformation of society to new scientific and technological system is taking place, and this new system is characterized by integration and interpenetration of sciences and technologies, by total intellectualization of the technological and instrumental base of a society. In particular, the growing integration and interpenetration of such technologies as, computer, communication, instrumentation, software, robotcontroller, nano-, bio-, cognitive, information, printing, and etc. leads to accelerated rates of scientific and technological progress, determines the formation of a new complex science-intensive technology areas. These directions should first include the Internet of Things (Internet ofThings – IoT), Smart Cities (SmartCities), Large data (BigData), intelligent control systems, industrial clustering technology of the digital economy (digitaleconomics).

Wherein, as in previous years, one of the main catalysts of scientific progress as a whole and the development of the above-mentioned areas are information technologies (IT) which have a truly pervasive power, and now they are becoming a feature of the widespread use of artificial intelligence technologies. Therefore, unifying concept, namely, cognitive-information technology (CIT) or a smart technology is increasingly being used for information and cognitive technologies.

Especially significant is the contribution of these technologies to the development of new critical scientific and technological areas, such as, the Internet of Things, Big Data (BigData), Smart Cities, intelligent control systems, robotics, intelligent distributed infrastructure, information resources, inforobots of digital economycs, and etc.

International scientific conference "Convergent Cognitive Information Technologies" is devoted to the integration of the efforts of scientists and experts from different countries in order to improve the efficiency of research and accelerate the development of practical scientific and technological potential of information technologies in science, technology, economics, training of scientific personnel.

Conference Objectives:
to promote researches in the field of theoretical computer science, applied mathematics and computer science, aimed at the development of scientific bases of cognitive and information technologies;
to promote scientific research and innovations in the field of cognitive convergence of information technologies and their applications;
to promote the integration of efforts in scientific research , as well as in the development of standards in such "hot" areas as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Smart City Technologies of the digital economy.

The conference is supported by the Federal Educational-Methodical Association in higher education for the enlarged group of specialties and areas of training 02.00.00 "Computer and Information Sciences".

According to the results of the conference selected scientific papers texts will be published in the scientific journal «Modern Information Technology and IT-education» (ISSN 2411-1473) and indexed in the RISC. The scientific journal «Modern Information Technology and IT-education» is a periodical printed publication. The certificate of registration of mass media PI number FS77-66450 on July 14, 2016.
