The school will consist of two 10-hour lecture courses taught in english.

1. ”Rate-allocation in wireless communication networks: stability and throughputs”, Dr Vsevolod Shneer из Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
2. "The Stein-Chen method: Coupling techniques for probability approximations”, Dr Fraser Daly из Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

In addition to the courses, there will be several workshops to discuss the lectures and a poster session for students. We are happy to see participants from any university and invite them to prepare and present their own poster. The Mathematical Center in Academgorodok provides some financial support for out-of-town participants.
