IX International Scientific Youth School-Seminar "Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods and Program Complexes" named after E.V. Voskresensky is conducted by the National Research Mordovia State University, the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (Russian Academy of Sciences) and the Middle Volga Mathematical Society on the basis MRSU.
The main objectives of the school-seminar are to identify and systematize current problems and trends in the development of computational methods used in mathematical modeling of physical and other processes, promote the inclusion of young scientists in the scientific community and test their scientific results, develop scientific cooperation and exchange research results.
The IX International Scientific Youth School-Seminar is supposed to focus on solving the following fundamental scientific problems:
Since 2009, the chairman of the program committees of conferences and seminar schools has been a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Professor V.F. Tishkin (Head of Department of Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of Department of Applied Mathematics, Differential Equations of Theoretical Mechanics, MRSU, Saransk).
The seminar school is traditionally attended by leading scientific mathematical schools of Russia (more than 10 schools), as well as countries of the near and far abroad. The main significant results of scientific research of participants in conferences and school-seminars are published in the peer-reviewed scientific journal “Journal of the Middle Volga Mathematical Society”. The journal is registered in the abstract database Zentralblatt MATH (access address: https://zbmath.org/serials/?q=se%3A00008628).
