January 9, 2022 is the 100^th anniversary of the birthday of the outstanding scientist, academician Vasilii Sergeevich Vladimirov. He made fundamental contributions to mathematical physics, complex analysis, $p$-adic analysis and its applications, Tauberian theory, transport equation, and quantum field theory. V. S. Vladimirov is the founder of one of the leading schools in the field of mathematical physics. Talks at the conference "Modern mathematical physics" will be presented on the topics of V. S. Vladimirov's broad scientific interests:
