Kazan Federal University, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Scientific and Educational Mathematical Center of the Volga Federal District are organizing an international conference “Algebra and Mathematical Logic: Theory and Applications” dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Department of Algebra at Kazan University, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences Nikolai Grigorievich Chebotarev ( 1894-1947) and the 80th anniversary of the birth of the current head of the department, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Mirzaevich Arslanov.
The conference will be held in Kazan from June 27 to July 1, 2024. Specialists in Lie algebras, group theory, ring theory, algebraic geometry, universal algebra, model theory, mathematical logic, computability theory, algebraic and logical methods in programming, as well as other related branches of mathematics are invited to participate.
The conference program committee is headed by RAS academician Yu.L. Ershov (chairman) and RAS professor I.Sh. Kalimullin (co-chairman).
