Novikov-125: International Conference Dedicated to the 125th Anniversary of P.S. Novikov (August 24–28, 2026, Steklov Mathematical Institute, 8, Gubkina str., Moscow)
Novikov-125 is the 125th anniversary conference dedicated to an outstanding mathematician Petr Sergeevich Novikov, famous for his outstanding contributions to the fields of algebra, descriptive set theory and proof theory, one of the founders of the Moscow school of mathematical logic. The topics of the conference cover a broad range of subjects, including (descriptive) set theory, proof theory, algebra, algorithmic problems and computability. All the talks at this event are by special invitation. There will be three plenary historical talks dedicated to Novikov's work, the rest will be 40 minutes talks.
