International conference "Probability Theory and its Applications" (June 26–30, 2012, Moscow)
The Organizing and Scientific Committee of the Conference "Probability Theory and its Applications" invites you to participate in the event. The conference in honor of the 100th anniversary of the outstanding mathematician, the Classic of Probability Theory B.V. Gnedenko will be held on June 26–30, 2012 in Moscow State University at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics jointly with Steklov Mathematical Institute and Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics.
During the conference six one-hour general plenary talks by Russian and foreign scientists are planned. The thematic section list is the following:
Limit theorems
Stochastic extreme value theory
Queueing theory
Mathematical reliability theory
Methods of actuarial mathematics
History of mathematics
Teaching of mathematics
Each session will include a 45-min. invited talk and 25-min. talks.
