CONFERENCES
Dynamics, Bifurcations, and Strange Attractors, 2015
(July 20–24, 2015, Nizhny Novgorod State University, Nizhny Novgorod)

Dear colleagues,

We organize the Conference "Dynamics, Bifurcations, and Strange Attractors" dedicated to 80th birthday of Leonid Pavlovich Shilnikov to commemorate his great contribution to the theory of dynamical systems and bifurcations. The conference will be held at Nizhny Novgorod State University, Russia, on July 20–24, 2015. The topics of the conference are inspired by great contributions by L. Shilnikov to the field. The participants will present on their current research and outline future directions in the theory and frontier applications.

Professor Shilnikov worked all his scientific life at Nizhny Novgorod State University. The school is a leading Russian university worldwide known for the famous Andronov School in dynamical systems headed by L. Shilnikov until his last days.

Nizhny Novgorod is an old beautiful Russian city founded in 1221. The city is placed at the magnificent confluence of two Great Russian Rivers, Volga and Oka. Nowadays it is an industrial city in Russia with the population over 1,350,000. It is also one of the cultural centers in Russia with many research and educational institutions, theaters, museums, and the philharmonic orchestra.

We invite colleagues working in this cross-disciplinary field to take participation in the conference and to make it a long-lasting memory event.
