The Beijing-Saint Petersburg Mathematics Colloquium is organised within the collaboration program between Saint Petersburg State University and Peking University. Its main objective is boosting the awareness of the scientists of both sides with works performed in the partner university with the perspective of joint research and exchange programs.

The sessions usually take place once a fortnight with two 1-hour talks being presented (one from Chinese and one from Russian side). The current format of talks is online, the possibility to convert it to the mixed format in the future is discussed.
